CARLOS R. RAMIREZ-PEREZ

In 1991 Mr.
Ramírez-Pérez obtained
his bachelor Degree in
Business Administration
with majors in
Accounting and Finance
(Cum Laude) from the
Pontifical Catholic
University, and his
Juris Doctor from the
University of Puerto
Rico School of Law in
1994. He is admitted to
practice law before the
Courts of the
Commonwealth of Puerto
Rico, before the United
States District Court
for the District of
Puerto Rico, the United
States Court of Appeals
for the First Circuit,
and the United States
Supreme Court. Mr.
Ramírez-Pérez is a
member of the Puerto
Rico Bar Association and
the Federal Bar
Association.
In 1995 Mr.
Ramírez-Pérez served at
the Court of Appeals of
the Commonwealth of
Puerto Rico as law clerk
to Appeal Judge Miguel
Gimenez Muñoz. Later he
served as Associate
Commissioner of the
Public Service
Commission of the
Commonwealth of Puerto
Rico.
Mr. Ramírez-Pérez has
extensive and successful
experience in the
litigation of
discrimination and
employment termination
claims on behalf of
employers in local and
federal courts, as well
as in all other types of
labor and employment law
litigation. He
represents clients in
arbitration
controversies before the
Conciliation and
Arbitration Bureau of
the Department of Labor
and handles
administrative and
appellate practice and
procedures. Mr.
Ramírez-Pérez has also
served as hearing
examiner on employment
and other matters.
